The Workshops
The three workshops include: Workshop 1: Caring for the Carer – Understanding the impact of burnout and compassion fatigue and implementing effective self-care strategies. Workshop 2: Clarify Your Vision – Exploring core values and future goals through structured reflection and creative vision board development. Workshop 3: Boundaries, Balance & Resilience – Identifying energy drains, setting professional boundaries and cultivating resilience for ongoing practice viability. No PowerPoint. No lecture halls. Just real conversations, experiential learning and evidence-based tools.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a psychologist to attend?
No. While the retreat is created by psychologists and PD points are able to be obtained, it is open to all allied health and medical professionals, including counsellors, social workers, GPs, psychiatrists and more.
If you work in a helping profession and want to prevent burnout or reconnect with your purpose, you are welcome. Please feel free to reach out if you are unsure if this Retreat would be suitable for you.
Is this retreat eligible for CPD?
We are currently undertaking the approval process for the Workshops and some of the activities that will be offered to be eligible for CPD points via the APS. This question will be updated as the application is processed.
What is included in the price?

✨ Personal expenses (e.g. souvenirs, drinks, tips, any activities or meals not specified in the itinerary that you wish to do)
How do I get there?
Fly into Denpasar Airport (Ngurah Rai International Airport) and travel to Sanur Harbour. From there, you’ll take a 30-minute fast boat from Sanur Harbour to Nusa Lembongan. We’ll provide step-by-step travel instructions once you’re booked and support with coordinating ferry times.
What if I don’t know anyone?
Most people come solo, and the group size is intentionally small, with a maximum of 16 participants across 12 villas. You will have plenty of space for quiet reflection as well as opportunities for connection, sharing, and community. Many participants of retreats have formed lasting friendships.
Can I bring a partner or friend who’s not attending the retreat?
This retreat is designed to be fully immersive and participant-focused, so accommodation is reserved for registered attendees only. If you're travelling with someone else, they’re welcome to book a separate villa nearby and meet up outside retreat hours.
What is the cancellation policy?
✨ $750 AUD deposit (inc GST) is non-refundable
✨ 50% refund for cancellations before 1 August 2025
✨ No refunds after 1 September 2025 (due to fixed venue and facilitator costs)
✨ You may transfer your spot to a colleague with written notice and approval
✨ We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking.
