Karen supports children and teenagers experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, behavioural challenges, trauma, neurodivergence, grief and life transitions. She offers a warm, compassionate and engaging approach, integrating creative activities, play-informed strategies and nature-based therapy to help young people feel safe, understood and confident to explore their challenges.

With experience across hospitals, schools and crisis support services, Karen draws on CBT, ACT, DBT skills, interpersonal models, family-informed approaches and nature-based interventions to provide practical, evidence-based care for both young people and their families.

Jacinta supports adolescents, young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, performance pressure, self-esteem challenges, ADHD, emotional dysregulation and low mood. She offers a collaborative, flexible and compassionate approach, helping clients build confidence, understand patterns and develop practical strategies that fit their lives.

Drawing on CBT, ACT, DBT skills and motivational interviewing, Jacinta works both in-clinic and outdoors, integrating walk-and-talk sessions for clients who engage best in nature. She has a strong interest in sport, exercise and performance psychology, and is also a valued member of our Adventure Therapy holiday program team.

Debbie supports children, teens and adults experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, emotional overwhelm and adjustment challenges. Her therapeutic style is gentle, flexible and collaborative, helping clients feel understood and creating a safe space for meaningful change.

She has experience in school settings, palliative care and equine-assisted therapy, and integrates CBT, ACT, DBT skills and EMDR-informed approaches to tailor sessions to each individual’s needs. Debbie has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent young people and adults, and works closely with families and other professionals to provide coordinated, holistic care.

Do you work with children and teenagers?

Yes. Our clinicians are experienced in working with ages 6–18 and supporting families.

Do you offer outdoor therapy for young people?

Yes. We provide walk-and-talk and holiday nature-based sessions for teens and children who engage better outdoors.

Can parents attend sessions?

For younger children, yes.  Parent involvement is essential, and we often invite the parents to stay for the start and the end of the session. For teens, we work collaboratively to decide what’s appropriate.

Do you work with neurodivergent young people?

Yes. We provide autism-affirming and ADHD-affirming therapy with a strong understanding of sensory needs, executive functioning and emotional regulation.
