Circle

A 6-Week Social Confidence and Connection Group for Children and Teens

Circle is a small therapeutic group designed for children and teens who would benefit from building confidence in friendships and social situations.

Many young people want connection but can find social situations confusing, overwhelming or exhausting to navigate. Some struggle with confidence, boundaries, reading social cues, maintaining friendships or knowing how to join in with peers in a way that feels comfortable and authentic.

Circle provides a supportive, neuroaffirming environment where young people can explore friendships, communication and connection in a way that feels safe, respectful and practical.

The group focuses on developing social confidence and relationship skills without encouraging young people to mask or change who they are. Instead, the emphasis is on helping participants better understand themselves and others while building meaningful and sustainable social connections.

The group draws on evidence-based and neuroaffirming approaches, with a strong focus on helping young people:

  • build confidence in social situations;
  • develop communication and conversation skills;
  • understand boundaries and relationships;
  • navigate peer conflict more effectively;
  • increase self-awareness and emotional understanding; and
  • develop stronger connection and belonging alongside peers.

Groups are kept intentionally small to support comfort, safety and connection.
