Exhale
A 6-Week Anxiety and Confidence Building Group for Teens
Exhale is a small therapeutic group designed for teens who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stressed or constantly “on.”
Many young people experience racing thoughts, overthinking, school stress, social pressure, difficulty switching off or physical symptoms of anxiety, but don’t always have the tools to manage them.
Exhale provides a calm, supportive environment where teens can slow things down, better understand anxiety and learn practical strategies to cope more effectively in everyday life.
The group draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with a strong focus on helping young people:
- understand anxiety and stress;
- responses;
- manage anxious thoughts;
- regulate emotions and physical overwhelm;
- build confidence and resilience; and
- develop practical coping strategies.
Groups are kept intentionally small to support comfort, safety and connection.
